Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sid Verona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marion Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: BOOT - Pepper. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Moore drives through with a takedown into guard.
Moore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Verona's head.
Moore controls from within his opponent's guard.

Verona trying to control but Moore postures up.
Verona wants to get back to his feet.

Verona is looking for a sweep. Moore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Verona tries to get to full guard but Moore has control of the leg.

Verona shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Verona was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Moore wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Verona.
Moore regains half guard.
Moore makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Moore.
Verona knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moore on the ground.
Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Verona's guard.

Verona is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Verona is breathing heavily.
Verona is trying to keep Moore in close.
Moore drops back, looking for a kneebar! Verona looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Verona looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Verona!
Moore regains half guard.
Moore actively working from the bottom here.
Moore is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Verona's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Verona's back!

I really don't envy Verona right now.
Moore really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Verona.
Moore wants to control but Verona is keeping busy.

Moore throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Verona!
Moore working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Verona is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Moore has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Verona taps out!
