Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rainbow Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Goddard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goddard gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bright changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Goddard fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bright tries for a takedown but Goddard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Goddard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bright paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bright shoots for a takedown but Goddard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rainbow Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bright shoots for a double leg takedown but Goddard sprawls well. He's pushed Bright's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
