Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yermolai Sokoloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Atleetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atleetti is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beyonce - Halo. Antti Atleetti is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokoloff gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Atleetti tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Atleetti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Atleetti blocking some punches.
Come on Sokoloff - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Atleetti is trying to break the clinch but Sokoloff is controlling him.
Sokoloff breaks the clinch.
Atleetti gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Atleetti stands up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sokoloff, as that shot connected.
Sokoloff misses with a low kick.
Atleetti shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sokoloff defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sokoloff closes the distance and clinches.

Atleetti misses with a takedown
and Sokoloff counters with a nice low kick that buckles Atleetti's knee momentarily.
Yermolai Sokoloff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antti Atleetti.
Atleetti tries for a takedown but Sokoloff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Atleetti tries to clinch but Sokoloff moves away
and Sokoloff counters with a nice body shot.
Atleetti jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Antti Atleetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sokoloff drops his hands momentarily and Atleetti takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Atleetti shoots in but no luck this time.
Atleetti has closed the distance and engaged Sokoloff in a clinch.

Atleetti tries to pull guard but Sokoloff won't allow it.
Atleetti tries to break free but Sokoloff pushes him back against the cage.
Atleetti jumps guard but Sokoloff turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Atleetti is looking to take this one to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Atleetti tries to pull guard but Sokoloff holds him up against the cage and eventually Atleetti drops back down to his feet.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sokoloff.
Atleetti tightens his grip and picks Sokoloff up, before dumping him to the ground. Sokoloff manages to land in guard.
Atleetti postures up.
Sokoloff is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Atleetti wanted to stand there but Sokoloff had control of the position.

Sokoloff trying to keep a closed guard but Atleetti is proving a slippery customer.
Sokoloff has a closed guard, preventing Atleetti from standing up.
Sokoloff looking to control.
Sokoloff tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Atleetti wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Sokoloff's closed guard. He's half up but Sokoloff has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Sokoloff pivots and extends the arm, Atleetti falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Sokoloff! Well done that man!
