The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd thuds a left hand into Roofer's body.
Todd misses with an uppercut
and Roofer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Todd throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Todd avoids the head kick by Roofer.
Todd scores with a crisp jab that stopped Roofer in his tracks.
Todd takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Roofer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Todd changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Roofer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Todd.
Todd throws a lazy uppercut
and Roofer counters with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Todd throws a right hand that Roofer ducks under and follows up with a left that Roofer also avoids with ease.

Todd throws a shot from downtown. Roofer moves away and avoids it.
No joy there for Todd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Todd tries to bum rush Roofer with a series of wild strikes but Roofer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Roofer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Todd drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Roofer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Todd is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Roofer pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Roofer lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Todd goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Roofer in side control.
It looks like Comanche Todd has been cut.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee asks Roofer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Roofer prefers to stall for the moment though.
Roofer lands a strong strike to the head of Todd. That's dazed him! Roofer looking to finish here. Todd is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Roofer lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
