Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wily Kealoha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legate Lanius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kealoha comes to the cage accompanied by Hula Hula. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Legate Lanius enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wily Kealoha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Legate Lanius! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lanius closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lanius trying to control the position but Kealoha is working away. Kealoha sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lanius not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kealoha moves into full guard.
Lanius advances to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kealoha won't allow Lanius to pass to mount. Lanius is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kealoha defends it well. Lanius tries to stand and escape but Kealoha is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kealoha wants to control but Lanius is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lanius tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kealoha controls his leg. Lanius works his way into side control. Lanius goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kealoha has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lanius but great work by Kealoha. Kealoha has knee on belly and moves into mount. Kealoha is working for a guillotine from mount but Lanius frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lanius tries to hold on but Kealoha pushes him away. Kealoha can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lanius is looking to escape. Kealoha looking to secure an arm triangle but Lanius defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kealoha working for a guillotine from mount but Lanius is in no mood to give up. Lanius is looking to get to half guard. Kealoha tries to control but Lanius wriggling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lanius bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lanius looking to pass the guard. Kealoha had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lanius defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lanius trying to control the position from guard on top but Kealoha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lanius tries to free his leg and advance position but Kealoha is retaining full guard. Lanius stands and throws Kealoha's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kealoha prevents Lanius from moving into mount. Lanius working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lanius tries to stand but Kealoha is controlling his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lanius throws an elbow but Kealoha slips to the side and avoids it well. Kealoha is not content to let Lanius control the position. Kealoha can't do much from the bottom here. Lanius wants to control but Kealoha is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kealoha trying to remain calm as Lanius controls from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Legate Lanius dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kealoha darts in and clinches Lanius up against the cage. Kealoha dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lanius. Lanius lands a takedown into guard.
Legate Lanius has got the better of the ground game so far. Lanius has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kealoha is proving hard to escape from. Lanius must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lanius trying to control the position from guard on top but Kealoha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lanius won't allow Kealoha to sweep him here. Lanius works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kealoha is not content to let Lanius control the position. Kealoha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lanius is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Kealoha manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Lanius slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lanius tries to stand but Kealoha is controlling his head. Kealoha prevents Lanius from moving into mount. Lanius wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kealoha, who protects the arm well. Lanius tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lanius has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kealoha gets back to half guard. Lanius not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kealoha gets full guard. Lanius wants to control from the top but Kealoha keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kealoha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lanius controls the pace. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lanius pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kealoha is keeping the position for now. Lanius has gone for a leg lock! Kealoha slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lanius's guard. Lanius keeping moving, preventing Kealoha from controlling successfully. Lanius wants to sweep here but Kealoha controlling him for the moment. Kealoha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lanius is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lanius looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lanius is trying to control the position but Kealoha postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Legate Lanius. Kealoha misses with a body shot.
Lanius closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lanius manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kealoha stopping the sweep attempt from Lanius. Kealoha wants to control from the top but Lanius keeps moving. Kealoha stopping the sweep attempt from Lanius. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lanius trying to control the position.
Kealoha advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Legate Lanius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lanius scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lanius thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kealoha is trying to control Lanius's posture but Lanius avoids it. Kealoha managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lanius.
Kealoha manages to get back to half guard. Lanius trying to mount his opponent but Kealoha defends it. Lanius is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kealoha sees it coming and defends easily. Lanius is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lanius is trying to work for a kimura but Kealoha is defending well.
Lanius is looking to stall here but Kealoha recovers full guard. Lanius got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kealoha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lanius has managed to get both his arms back between Kealoha's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kealoha keeping full guard, as Lanius tries to pass. Lanius avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lanius passes easily into side control. Nice work. The strikes coming from Lanius are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lanius tries to advance to mount but Kealoha denies him. Lanius in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kealoha is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
