The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins tries to clinch up.

A solid leg kick lands there for Collins.

Collins is looking to clinch but Alexander is avoiding it.
Collins throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alexander closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Collins did well to prevent Alexander getting side control.

Collins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alexander manages to get himself to full guard.

Alexander isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Collins stacks Alexander on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Collins!

Alexander knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Collins on the ground.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Collins shoots for a takedown but Alexander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Alexander manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alexander accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alexander has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Collins to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Alexander is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Collins pulls down on the head and he's put Alexander to sleep! This one is all over!
