The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horwich closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Davis did well to prevent Horwich getting side control.
Horwich wants to free his trapped foot but Davis is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Horwich not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Davis is looking to control Horwich's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Davis avoid being mounted?
Davis tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Horwich has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Horwich connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Horwich lands a couple of good shots and Davis has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horwich is not going to allow Davis to sit and survive in this position.
Horwich has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Davis is defending well but eventually Horwich manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Davis has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
