Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooten comes to the cage accompanied by The Fourth Night of My Drinking by The Drive-By Truckers. Robert Drysdale will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Wooten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Drysdale! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drysdale closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wooten did well to prevent Drysdale getting side control. Wooten won't allow Drysdale to pass to mount. Wooten avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Drysdale. Wooten looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Drysdale passes the guard and advances to mount! Wooten is squirming around, avoiding Drysdale's attempts to control the action. Wooten is looking to improve his position but Drysdale isn't that keen on the idea. Drysdale with good strikes from the mount here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wooten is trying desperately to improve position. Wooten is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale lands a nice shot to the head. A nice elbow there by Drysdale. Drysdale landing shots from mount. Drysdale trying to control but Wooten is having none of it. Drysdale breaks from Wooten's wrist control and lands an elbow. Drysdale tries to control but Wooten wriggling away. Wooten manages to regain half guard. Good work. Drysdale is nestled in close to Wooten, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wooten is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drysdale is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wooten defends it well. Wooten is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Drysdale pulls his head out easily. Drysdale frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Drysdale putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooten is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Drysdale locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Wooten is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Robert Drysdale!
