Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Ribero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanapa Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Animai comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Here comes the hotstepper kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Animai.
Animai tries for a takedown but Ribero circles away easily
and Ribero counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ribero gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Animai to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ribero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Animai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ribero has managed to get both his arms back between Animai's legs - danger averted.
Animai is looking for a triangle but Ribero pushes his legs off easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Animai working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ribero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ribero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ribero decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vanapa Animai will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ribero leaves Animai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Animai feints and as Ribero raises his hands in defense, Animai changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Animai slips nicely into half guard.
Ribero is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Animai pulls his head out easily.
Vanapa Animai has got the better of the ground game so far.
Animai in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ribero tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Animai!
