The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gauthier looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Miro!
Gauthier is landing with some decent strikes but Miro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Miro is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gauthier cracks Miro with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Gauthier working for a guillotine from mount but Miro is in no mood to give up.
Miro swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Miro tries to hold on but Gauthier pushes him away.
Gauthier is landing with some decent strikes but Miro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Gauthier jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miro manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miro is trying to improve his position.

Gauthier tries for a kimura but Miro is defending well.
Gauthier tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Miro throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Gauthier was waiting for it though - now Miro's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and Miro is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Gauthier!
