Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias comes to the cage accompanied by Te esperando. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcos Dias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Smith! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dias clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Kevin Smith has been cut. Dias misses with a wild combination.
A jab from Dias does it's job there.
Smith is rocked! Dias lands a right hook to the body.
Smith slips under a jab from Dias. Smith takes one on the button. Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Dias finish him? Dias misses with a two punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dias works the jab nicely. Dias gets tackled into the cage by Smith. Smith maintains the clinch. Smith misses with a hook from the clinch. Dias wants to break free but Smith has control.
Dias lands with a short head shot on the inside. Dias fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dias jumps guard but Smith turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Smith has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dias is trying to keep an underhook but Smith manages to get the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dias looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dias does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dias is trying to maintain the position but Smith is very close to passing his half guard. Dias looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith trying to control from half guard but Dias is working away. Dias wants to improve his position but Smith is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dias has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though. Smith is keen to just control but Dias is a slippery customer. Dias trying to control here.
Smith wants to control but Dias is keeping him busy. Smith seems to be looking for submissions.
Dias is staying active underneath Smith, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Smith sitting and controlling from the half guard. Dias looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith is thwarting Dias's attempts to control the position. Dias tries to get to full guard but Smith has control of the leg. Smith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kevin Smith was stalling too much, according to the referee. A left lands for Dias. Marcos Dias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dias tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dias circles away quickly and effectively. Dias thuds a left hand into Smith's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias gets caught napping as Smith dives in and scores a takedown. Dias manages to retain guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dias throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Dias working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Smith trying to control but Dias is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dias is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.
Smith avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Dias dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kevin Smith's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Dias lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Smith looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dias! Smith tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dias's legs. You can see the frustration on Dias's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dias manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dias seems to be working for a kimura but Smith defends the submission attempt. Smith tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Smith actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith trying to hold on to Dias's head to control him but Dias postures up.
Dias is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dias. Dias moves into full mount! Smith won't be happy about that! Dias goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smith turns into him and now he's in Dias's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dias pushes a forearm under Smith's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Smith is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marcos Dias! A relieved looking Marcos Dias thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
