The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhurmedov lands a right hook to the body.
Jones looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Zhurmedov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Zhurmedov sprawls well.
John Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhurmedov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Zhurmedov shoots in and gets a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zhurmedov escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Zhurmedov in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jones is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
