Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Akhmat Sadiyev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Tompson! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sadiyev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tompson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sadiyev paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tompson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sadiyev misses with a wild body shot. Sadiyev fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sadiyev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tompson fails in his attempt to clinch. Tompson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sadiyev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tompson connects with a knee to the head.
Sadiyev tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sadiyev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tompson after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akhmat Sadiyev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sadiyev is looking to break free of the clinch but Tompson has double underhooks. Tompson looking to throw knees to the head but Sadiyev is blocking nicely.

Tompson looks winded! Tompson avoids the elbow strike from Sadiyev, against the cage.
Tompson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sadiyev blocks it with crossed arms. Sadiyev goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tompson prevents it.
Tompson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sadiyev.
Sadiyev decides to pull guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sadiyev is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sadiyev looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sadiyev has a closed guard, preventing Tompson from standing up. Tompson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Sadiyev's closed guard. He's half up but Sadiyev has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Sadiyev pivots and extends the arm, Tompson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Sadiyev! Well done that man!
