0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alpo Martinez! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dawson tries to avoid it but Martinez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dawson to the ground. Dawson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dawson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Martinez as he avoids it easily. Martinez is looking to clinch but Dawson is avoiding it.
Martinez fails to land with a series of punches.
Martinez stuffs the takedown. Martinez takes a swing at Dawson's ribcage but misses. Martinez has his takedown stuffed and Dawson counters with a shoot takedown. Martinez fights it but they end up in guard. Dawson trying to control but Martinez is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dillion Dawson. Martinez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dawson sprawls well. Dawson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martinez gets slowly back to his feet. Dillion Dawson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Martinez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dawson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martinez to the mat. Martinez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dawson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Martinez looking to control.

Martinez tries for a takedown but Dawson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dawson closes the distance and clinches up with Martinez, looking for a takedown. Dawson pushes Martinez against the cage but Martinez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dawson gets caught napping as Martinez dives in and scores a takedown. Dawson manages to retain guard. Martinez looking to sit in guard and control but Dawson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. And that's the end of the fight! Dillion Dawson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dawson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
