The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Brit sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith tries for a takedown but Brit circles away easily
and Brit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Leon Smith has been cut.
Smith walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brit checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brit drops Smith with a big left hand and mounts him. Smith is in big trouble!
Smith is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brit lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Smith! Brit sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Smith and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
