Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitar Boev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rony Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues has chosen Pais e Filhos-Legião Urbana as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boev thumps Rodrigues with a low kick.
Boev cracks a nice hook into Rodrigues's ribs.

Rodrigues is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boev's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodrigues wants to work for an arm triangle but Boev is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boev trying to get back to full guard but Rodrigues takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Rodrigues jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Boev is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Boev and Rodrigues has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rodrigues thows a huge punch but Boev dodges it nicely.

Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boev but Boev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boev connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rodrigues. Rodrigues circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rodrigues misses with a takedown attempt - Boev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Boev darts in and clinches Rodrigues up against the cage.

Boev throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Rodrigues crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
