Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Demented (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Demented!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a head kick but Demented moves out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Demented lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Penn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Penn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Demented crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Penn - the referee stops the clock and Demented gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Penn. Demented manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Penn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Demented but Demented pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Penn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Demented is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Penn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Demented's back instead.
Demented tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Penn has control of Demented's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Demented regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Penn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Demented to the mat! Demented manages to get full guard.

It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.
Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demented tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demented to the ground. Demented escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

You get the feeling that Demented really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Penn jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Demented is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Demented and Penn has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close second round but I would say that BJ Penn will probably get the nod.
