Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Guarino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood comes to the ring accompanied by Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) - The Prodigy. The key to victory for Dan Wood has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Guarino is rocked!

It looks like Trey Guarino has been cut.
Wood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Guarino is still on wobbly legs! Can Wood finish him?
Wood misses with a kick to the body.
Guarino takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wood misses with a two punch combination.
Guarino seems to have recovered his senses.
Wood is looking to clinch but Guarino is avoiding it.
Wood chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Guarino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Guarino thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Guarino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guarino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Guarino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wood doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guarino.

Wood is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Guarino wants to pass to mount but Wood is defending the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Guarino fails to land the takedown.
Guarino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wood is fending him off so far but Guarino persists. Nope, Wood circles away and we're back to standing.

Guarino gets a clinch.
Wood gets underhooks to prevent Guarino's takedown attempt.
Dan Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Guarino.
Guarino changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wood fights it off and pushes away nicely.
