Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kane Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Vandalay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Celebration by Kool and the Gang. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kane Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Vandalay! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vandalay will feel that in the morning. Vandalay keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nice body kick there by Vandalay. Williams digs a good body shot into Vandalay's ribs. Vandalay finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Vandalay works the jab nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams lands a jab-cross combination. Williams checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Art Vandalay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vandalay moves away. Vandalay stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Vandalay with a jab. Vandalay turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Vandalay sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. The fight stays on the outside here - Vandalay looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams misses with a head kick.
Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Williams swings for the body but Vandalay moves out of range.
Vandalay takes a body punch but keeps moving. Vandalay throws a jab when Williams was well out of range. Vandalay moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Vandalay bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Vandalay thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Williams if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Good leg kick by Vandalay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vandalay lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily. Williams is breathing heavily. Vandalay looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vandalay cracks Williams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Vandalay tries to land a leg kick but Williams saw it coming and moves away.
Vandalay scores with a crisp jab that stopped Williams in his tracks. Vandalay lands with a shot to the body. Vandalay looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. Good leg kick by Vandalay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Some bone on bone action there as Vandalay checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Vandalay misses with a hook. Vandalay is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Vandalay tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Vandalay fails in his attempt to clinch. Vandalay throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vandalay defending well as Williams loads up on a big left hand. Williams looks to land a right hand but Vandalay moved out of range. Vandalay does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Williams throws a leg kick and Vandalay finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Williams takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Vandalay looks for the body kick but Williams saw that one coming. Williams thows a body shot but no joy. Vandalay looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Williams is looking to score with low kicks. Vandalay throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Williams tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vandalay uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Williams. A good leg kick by Vandalay. Vandalay fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Williams moves forwards but Vandalay connects with a nice, crisp jab. Vandalay lands with a nice body kick. Vandalay fails in his attempt to clinch. Vandalay throws a push kick but Williams slaps the foot to one side. Williams drops his hands momentarily and Vandalay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Kane Williams has been cut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams takes one to the chin there. Vandalay stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Williams on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Art Vandalay dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kane Williams's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vandalay throws a half hearted mid kick. Vandalay cracks the inside of Williams's front leg. Vandalay scores with a jab to the jaw. Williams is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Vandalay takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses. Vandalay digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs. Good leg kick by Vandalay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A nice leg kick lands there from Vandalay. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vandalay's corner calls for a 1-2. Vandalay obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Vandalay looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range. Good leg kick by Vandalay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vandalay's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye. Williams will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Vandalay connects with a body shot. Vandalay scoring well with a low kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vandalay lands a big uppercut and Williams crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Williams looks OK. Vandalay waves Williams back to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vandalay throws a nice outside leg kick. Vandalay lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Vandalay stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!
Williams is rocked! Williams drops his hands momentarily. Vandalay doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Williams staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Williams doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Art Vandalay! As Art Vandalay got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: This was my last fight with JLP. My skills and physical are unsustainable. The new engine shits all over the clinch game. It's easier to get a TD than to clinch.'.
