The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goring throws out a loose jab but Gonzales uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gonzales takes one to the chin there.
Goring blocks a head kick by Gonzales .
Gonzales shoots in and drives through. Goring sprawls well.
A slow jab from Goring misses its intended target.
Goring throws a jab when Gonzales was well out of range.
Goring with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Goring throws a looping overhand right but Gonzales ducks down to avoid it.
Nice jab there from Goring .
Goring keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gonzales staying out of range there.
Gonzales ducks under a wild hook from Goring .
Goring throws a poor cross that misses
and Gonzales counters by clinching up.
Gonzales has Goring pressed against the cage, preventing Goring from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gonzales has had enough of the clinch but Goring keeps him there for the moment.
Goring wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gonzales pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as Goring lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzales doesn't seem phased though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goring misses with a hook. Gonzales ducked under it nicely.
Hanz Goring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goring drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gonzales right on the button. Gonzales goes down! Goring follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Goring gets the win via TKO!
