Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Du Arschloch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Snarff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerry Snarff will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Du Arschloch !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerry Snarff!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snarff fails with a takedown attempt.
Du Arschloch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Arschloch with that takedown attempt.
Arschloch shoots in for a takedown but Snarff shows good takedown defense.
Snarff misses with a takedown attempt - Arschloch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Arschloch shoots in and bounces Snarff off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Snarff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Arschloch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Snarff is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Arschloch is controlling him.

Arschloch is looking to work some ground and pound but Snarff has wrist control.
Snarff looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Arschloch works over Snarff with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arschloch is working Snarff over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Snarff wants to stand but Arschloch is controlling the position.
Snarff is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Snarff looking for a guillotine here but Arschloch defends easily.

Arschloch has gone for a leg lock! Snarff slips out almost immediately though and dives into Arschloch 's guard.

Snarff is stalling in the full guard.

Arschloch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snarff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snarff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Snarff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Arschloch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snarff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Arschloch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Arschloch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Snarff with a flurry of punches that miss.

Arschloch looking for a guillotine here but Snarff defends easily.
Snarff throwing strikes from guard but Arschloch blocks nicely.

Arschloch is looking for a triangle but Snarff pushes his legs off easily.
Snarff slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Arschloch wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Snarff remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Snarff wants to take a breather but Arschloch manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Snarff.
Arschloch trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Arschloch is looking for a triangle here but Snarff uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Arschloch tries to buck Snarff off but Snarff is having none of it.
Arschloch is trying to escape the position but Snarff is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Arschloch is looking for a sweep.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Snarff decides to stand back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arschloch .
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Du Arschloch . That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Snarff.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Du Arschloch will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Arschloch .
Snarff sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Snarff tries to kick Arschloch off but Arschloch keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Snarff is trying to get back to full guard.
Arschloch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Arschloch working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Arschloch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Snarff's head.
Snarff tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Arschloch wants to take a breather but Snarff is having none of it.

Arschloch is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Snarff wants to improve his position but Arschloch is controlling well.

Arschloch is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Snarff has managed to free his arm - good work.

Arschloch drops an elbow to the side of Snarff's head.
Du Arschloch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Arschloch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Snarff tries to kick Arschloch off but Arschloch keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Snarff kicks Arschloch off and gets back to his feet.
Arschloch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Arschloch fails with a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Snarff defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arschloch .
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Du Arschloch . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Arschloch shoots in for a double leg but Snarff sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Snarff is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Snarff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Snarff darts in and clinches Arschloch up against the cage.
Arschloch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Snarff pulls his leg out and moves away.
Snarff lands a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Snarff closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Arschloch 's guard.

Snarff trying to control the position from guard on top but Arschloch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Arschloch working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Snarff has passed into half guard!
Snarff perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Snarff is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerry Snarff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Snarff counters with a left and a right that stings Arschloch .
Snarff shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arschloch defends it nicely.
Arschloch looks for a takedown but Snarff sprawls well.
Snarff scores with a sloppy right hand. Arschloch should have avoided that one.

Snarff fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Arschloch , pushing him back against the cage.
Arschloch is looking for a takedown.
Arschloch is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Snarff gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Snarff manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Snarff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Snarff is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Snarff stalling away here and it's allowed Arschloch to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Snarff is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Arschloch tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Snarff looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Arschloch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snarff pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arschloch is refusing to be controlled, as Snarff sits in half guard.
Arschloch tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Snarff thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Arschloch is not content to let Snarff control the position.
Snarff seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Snarff is keen to just control but Arschloch is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerry Snarff was stalling too much, according to the referee.
No luck for Arschloch with that takedown attempt.
Snarff finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Snarff dives in and grabs Arschloch 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Arschloch pushes down on Snarff's head and hops out.

Arschloch has a takedown stuffed.
Snarff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Arschloch avoids it really well and circles away.

Snarff clinches.
Arschloch drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Snarff gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Snarff gets underhooks to prevent Arschloch 's takedown attempt.

Snarff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Snarff is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arschloch sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Arschloch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Snarff sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Arschloch somewhat.
Arschloch shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jerry Snarff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snarff has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
