Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Marimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waltari Suokuokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suokuokka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paul Engemann - Scarface (Push It to the Limit) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Luke Marimo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Waltari Suokuokka's chin.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Suokuokka throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Suokuokka lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Marimo backwards.
Suokuokka scores with a hook to the body.
Suokuokka pulls guard successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Suokuokka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Waltari Suokuokka.
Marimo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Suokuokka counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Luke Marimo has been cut.
Marimo is breathing heavily.
Marimo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Suokuokka.
Suokuokka moves into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Suokuokka.

Suokuokka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Suokuokka moves into range and clinches up with Marimo.
Suokuokka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Marimo or not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Suokuokka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marimo's guard.
Suokuokka works over Marimo with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suokuokka lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Suokuokka scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Suokuokka works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Suokuokka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Suokuokka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Marimo defend it? Suokuokka steps over the head and cranks it - Marimo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Suokuokka!
