Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Stiglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiglitz has chosen Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matthew Connor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hugo Stiglitz!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stiglitz wants to clinch
and Connor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Connor lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stiglitz will feel that in the morning.
Connor tries to score with a low kick but Stiglitz moves his leg out of the way.
Stiglitz shoots in but Connor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Connor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stiglitz looks to clinch
enabling Connor to counter with a crisp jab.
Connor looks to score with a jab to the body but Stiglitz is just out of range.
Connor scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Connor scores with a shot to the body.
Connor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stiglitz throws a right hand that Connor ducks under and follows up with a left that Connor also avoids with ease.
A solid body kick from Connor.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stiglitz avoids a kick to the body.
Connor lands with a right hand.
Stiglitz looks to clinch
and Connor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stiglitz thinking.
Connor feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stiglitz sprawling to the canvas! Stiglitz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Connor finish him?!
Stiglitz is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A solid body kick from Connor.
Stiglitz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Connor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Connor lands a slapping body shot.
Stiglitz looks winded!

and Connor counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
