Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kierron Molet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikaros Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kierron Molet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ikaros Fire!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molet tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Molet doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fire counters with a head kick. That will keep Molet thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Molet shoots in but no luck this time.

Molet drives through with a takedown into Fire's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Molet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fire looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Molet puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Molet missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Molet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fire is looking for a sweep. Molet is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fire tries to get to full guard but Molet has control of the leg.

Molet decides to stand and escape the position.

Molet shoots in and bounces Fire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Molet got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fire has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Molet has managed to get both his arms back between Fire's legs - danger averted.
Molet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Molet's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Fire can't keep his opponent in guard - Molet advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Molet is taking a breather. Fire says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fire is trying to maintain the position but Molet is very close to passing his half guard.
Molet moves nicely into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on Fire's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fire is not content to let Molet control the position.
Fire struggling a bit here.
Fire is looking to regain half guard here but Molet keeps moving and retains side control.
Molet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fire keeps working.

Molet advances nicely into full mount.
Fire is squirming around, avoiding Molet's attempts to control the action.
Fire is looking to improve his position but Molet isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Molet trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Good leg kick by Fire there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Molet shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Molet sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Fire wants to get back to full guard.
Molet stalling.

Molet throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Molet with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Molet is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fire is just riding it out for now. Molet eventually gives up the hold.
Fire is looking to improve his position.
Fire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Molet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fire is defending against the submission attempts here by Molet.

Fire is refusing to be controlled, as Molet sits in half guard.

Fire is working to get back to half guard.

Molet gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Molet.
Fire shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Molet but Molet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fire turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fire fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Molet has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fire pushes Molet away with a front kick.

and Fire counters with a good low kick that Molet was not able to check.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kierron Molet will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fire moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Molet takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Molet is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Fire throws a head kick that Molet semi-blocks.
Fire throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Molet's head.
Molet sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Fire swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Molet.

Fire fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Molet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fire. That's going to slow Molet down.

Kierron Molet is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Molet on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
