Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Shuster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shuster has chosen Superman as his entrance music. Fernando Batista could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jerry Shuster's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Batista! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerry Shuster! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Shuster keeping full guard, as Batista tries to pass. Batista postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shuster wants to stand and escape but Batista is having none of it. Batista wanted to stand there but Shuster had control of the position. Batista preventing the sweep. Shuster wants to get back to his feet but Batista is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Batista darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Batista is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Shuster is trying to stand back up but Batista is controlling him
Batista passes to side control. Batista working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batista tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Batista is breathing heavily. Shuster tries to improve position but can't. Batista is working to tighten is grip on Shuster's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shuster has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Batista is really squeezing tight and eventually Shuster passes out! Batista breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
