Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquez comes to the cage accompanied by Vicente Fernandez - Los Mandados. Barry is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Going Back 2 Cali. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Vasquez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Barry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cain Vasquez will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barry connects with a nice short shot to Vasquez's temple.

After the fight, Pat Barry was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
