Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silverback Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Triunfo . 28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silverback Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lesnar counters with a slapping leg kick. Lesnar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Batista. Batista throws a series of punches but Lesnar moves out of range. Batista misses with an uppercut. Lesnar saw that one coming. Batista takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Lesnar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Batista lands a really nice looking cross but Lesnar seems unphased.
It looks like Silverback Lesnar has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Batista drops Lesnar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lesnar looks back up at him and smiles so Batista waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lesnar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The fight stays on the outside here - Lesnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lesnar throws a hook but Batista blocks it. Lesnar cracks a nice hook into Batista's ribs. Lesnar tries to clinch but Batista moves away and Batista counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar throws a hook but Batista avoids it easily. Batista throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lesnar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lesnar looks winded! A looping hook to the body misses from Batista. Lesnar does a little dance to reset his feet. Batista keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lesnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Batista takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Batista is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lesnar throws a hook but Batista blocks it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Batista bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Batista is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Batista slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.

Lesnar is rocked! Lesnar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Batista was well out of range. Poor timing from Lesnar. Batista's corner calls for a 1-2. Batista obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Lesnar is still on wobbly legs! Can Batista finish him? Batista sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lesnar's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lesnar's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
