Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Nair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Snapfish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Snapfish is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sameer Nair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Snapfish!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snapfish rushes Nair and presses him up against the cage.
Snapfish breaks from the clinch.
Snapfish fails with the takedown.
Snapfish tries to clinch but Nair is having none of it.
Snapfish shoots for a double leg takedown but Nair sprawls well. He's pushed Snapfish's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nair swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Snapfish tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nair swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Snapfish misses with a combination
and Nair counters with a one-two to the body.
Nair circles away from the clinch attempt
and Nair counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nair lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Snapfish tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nair swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Snapfish shoots in for a double leg but Nair sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sameer Nair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Snapfish.
Nair drives through with a takedown into guard.
Snapfish has his foot on Nair's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nair works his way back into a safe position though.
Nair tries to stand but Snapfish is controlling from the bottom.
Snapfish has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nair doesn't defend quickly enough and Snapfish has managed to lock this one up! Can Nair escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Snapfish on a fantastic submission victory.
