Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xanadu Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xanadu Newton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Walsh! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newton scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Newton lands a leg kick that knocks Walsh off balance momentarily. Walsh gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Newton takes a jab right on the kisser.
A nice combination there by Newton.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Newton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Newton ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice body kick there by Newton. Newton tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Walsh is able to avoid easily. A head kick misses from Newton. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Newton.
Walsh thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Newton. Walsh does a little dance to reset his feet. Walsh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Walsh dives in and grabs Newton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Newton pushes down on Walsh's head and hops out. Newton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Newton defending well as Walsh loads up on a big left hand. Walsh keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Walsh moves to clinch but Newton breaks away and Newton counters with a nice leg kick. Newton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Walsh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walsh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walsh tries to move into range but Newton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Newton throws a low kick but it's checked well by Walsh. Walsh tries to clinch up but Newton circles away and keeps his distance. Walsh looks to score with a jab to the body but Newton is just out of range. Newton throws a chopping leg kick but Walsh manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Walsh misses with the combination.
Walsh looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Walsh throws an elbow that misses. Newton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Walsh's guard. Nice move by Newton!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Walsh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Newton stacks Walsh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Newton! Newton takes a little break here. Walsh wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Walsh sneaks back into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh is trying to maintain the position but Newton is very close to passing his half guard. Newton stalling. Walsh won't allow Newton to pass to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walsh wants to control but Newton is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Walsh manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xanadu Newton dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Newton throws a head kick that misses. Walsh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Xanadu Newton is winning the standup battle so far. Newton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walsh. A good leg kick by Newton. A head kick misses from Walsh. Ryan Walsh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walsh blocks a low kick nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Walsh. Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Newton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Newton scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh tries a head kick but it misses.
Xanadu Newton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Newton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Walsh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Walsh's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Newton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Walsh scrambles back to his feet. Newton tests Walsh's chin there with a solid looking shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Newton.
Walsh moves in looking to clinch but Newton pushes him off. Walsh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Walsh's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A head kick misses from Newton. A head kick misses from Newton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walsh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Newton. Newton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walsh was well out of range. Poor timing from Newton. Walsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Newton as he jumps to the side. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Newton scores with a decent looking hook. Walsh fails in his attempt to clinch. Newton tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Walsh is able to avoid easily. Some bone on bone action there as Newton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Newton thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Walsh if he has to take too many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newton lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Ryan Walsh has been cut. Newton bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Newton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Newton feints and then cracks Walsh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Walsh down. Newton chopping away at his opponent's legs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walsh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Walsh moves into the clinch successfully.
Walsh is looking to take this one to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xanadu Newton dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ryan Walsh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Newton throws a leg kick which misses Walsh's front leg but catches the back leg as Walsh tries to avoid it. Walsh drives through and clinches with Newton against the cage.
Newton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Newton takes a swing at Walsh's ribcage but misses. Some wild striking there from Newton.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Walsh, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Newton napping and manages to drive through into side control! Newton manages to get back to half guard. Walsh is trying to control the action in half guard but Newton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Newton wants to get back to full guard. Newton holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Newton is trying to get back to full guard. Walsh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Newton keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walsh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Newton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Walsh hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Walsh drives through with a takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walsh throws a strike but Newton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Walsh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newton wants to pass the guard but Walsh is keeping the position. Walsh working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Newton has passed into half guard!
Xanadu Newton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Newton is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Walsh wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Newton is now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh is looking to improve his position.
Newton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walsh on the ground. Newton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walsh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ryan Walsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walsh is in trouble now - Newton has advanced to mount!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ryan Walsh. I think Newton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
