Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xanadu Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Newton lands a leg kick that knocks Walsh off balance momentarily.
Walsh gets cracked there but stands up to it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Newton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Newton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walsh was well out of range. Poor timing from Newton.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Walsh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Newton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Walsh hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Walsh throws a strike but Newton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

I would just about give that final round to Ryan Walsh.
