Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blazerze Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Corleone shoots in looking for a takedown. Drago tries to sprawl out of it but Corleone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drago manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Drago closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drago throws a strike aimed at the side of Corleone's head but Corleone avoids it well.
Corleone can't do much from the bottom here.
Drago wants to control but Corleone is keeping him busy.
Corleone seems a little lost for a moment, as Drago dominates the positioning.
Drago works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Corleone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drago wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Drago content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drago stands up.

Corleone moves into the clinch.

Drago gets control of Corleone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Drago will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Drago is on top in guard.
Drago throwing strikes but missing.
Corleone looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Drago has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Corleone throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Drago escapes and throws Corleone's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Drago has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Corleone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice takedown defense from Drago. No joy for Corleone on that attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Corleone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Drago sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Danny Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blazerze Corleone.
Corleone throws a sloppy head kick and Drago moves out of range easily.

Drago feints and as Corleone raises his hands in defense, Drago changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Drago postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Drago stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

The fight stays on the outside here - Corleone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Corleone gets caught napping as Drago dives in and scores a takedown. Corleone manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drago pushes down on Corleone's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Corleone wants to control but Drago is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Corleone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Drago content to control rather than advance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Drago dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Drago shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Corleone's guard.
Corleone pulls Drago in close to prevent any damage.

Drago thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Drago cracks Corleone with a solid left hand.
Drago wants to control from the top but Corleone keeps moving.
Drago sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Corleone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Drago tries to free his leg and advance position but Corleone is retaining full guard.

Corleone is not content to let Drago control the position.
Corleone wants to get back to his feet.
Drago slows the pace down in half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Danny Drago wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Drago looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Drago counters with a nice leg kick.

Danny Drago overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Drago with shots to the head and body - Corleone looks very uncomfortable down there.

Corleone has left one of his arms exposed and Drago doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Corleone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
