Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Menina te amo tanto. Tyson Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
Juan Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Ramirez shoots in.
Ramirez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ramirez off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Ramirez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
