Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Kaph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carneiro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Anthem for the Young 'n Restless. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaph throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thiago Kaph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Carneiro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carneiro closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Carneiro changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Carneiro throws a series of punches but Kaph avoids them all with ease.
Kaph lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Carneiro just misses with a punch to the body.
Carneiro scores with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carneiro's corner calls for a 1-2. Carneiro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kaph tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kaph lands with a kick to the temple. Carneiro shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kaph lands a head kick. Carneiro smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Carneiro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kaph throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kaph connects with a high kick.

Carneiro misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kaph buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kaph doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Carneiro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carneiro thuds his right hand into Kaph's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Carneiro blocks a head kick by Kaph.

Carneiro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaph manages to avoid it.
Kaph throws a sloppy head kick and Carneiro moves out of range easily.
Kaph moves forwards but Carneiro connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kaph goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Carneiro misses with a double jab.
Carneiro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carneiro works over Kaph's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Thiago Kaph has been cut.

Carneiro misses with a few strikes there.

Kaph throws a sloppy head kick and Carneiro moves out of range easily.

Kaph takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carneiro is looking to wear down Kaph with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Carneiro throws a right and a left that Kaph avoids nicely.
Carneiro lands a nice shot to the body.
Carneiro drops Kaph with a big left hand! Kaph is injured, injured bad! Carneiro jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Richard Carneiro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
