Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Irvine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irvine has chosen Break the Walls as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chris Irvine enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Irvine!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Haddad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Al Haddad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Irvine circles away quickly and effectively.

Irvine feints and as Al Haddad raises his hands in defense, Irvine changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Irvine postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Irvine scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Irvine makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Al Haddad finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Irvine avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Al Haddad throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A combination from Al Haddad does no damage.
Al Haddad lands with a nice body punch.
Al Haddad lands a really nice looking cross but Irvine seems unphased.
Al Haddad throws a right hand that Irvine ducks under and follows up with a left that Irvine also avoids with ease.
Al Haddad lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Al Haddad takes a swing at Irvine's ribcage but misses.

Irvine needs to keep his hands up - Al Haddad had a free shot at his head there.
Al Haddad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Irvine moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Irvine counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Al Haddad is fighting off a takedown attempt but Irvine is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Al Haddad to the mat. Al Haddad regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Irvine gets to his feet and stands over Al Haddad, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Al Haddad felt that one! Irvine unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Al Haddad from any more punishment!
