The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Evangelista.
Evangelista shoots in looking for a takedown. Brighthouse tries to sprawl out of it but Evangelista keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brighthouse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Evangelista blocks a head kick by Brighthouse.

Evangelista shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brighthouse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Evangelista drops back looking for a leg! Brighthouse is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brighthouse manages to kick Evangelista off! Evangelista jumps back into Brighthouse's guard.

Evangelista has gone for a leg lock! Brighthouse slips out almost immediately though and dives into Evangelista's guard.
Brighthouse cracks Evangelista with a solid left hand.

Brighthouse stands up from Evangelista's guard - Brighthouse perhaps looking for a knockout.

Evangelista closes the distance and clinches up with Brighthouse, looking for a takedown. Evangelista pushes Brighthouse against the cage but Brighthouse circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Evangelista blocks a jab.

Brighthouse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Brighthouse decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Evangelista, up you get!
A telegraphed right hand from Brighthouse misses the target.

Brighthouse decides to stand up, so the ref orders Evangelista to his feet.

Evangelista tries a head kick but it misses.

Brighthouse closes the distance and pushes Evangelista back into the cage.

Brighthouse lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Brighthouse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Evangelista.
Brighthouse fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evangelista on the side of the head.
Brighthouse scores with a hook to the body. Evangelista takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Brighthouse moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Evangelista goes down! Can Brighthouse finish him!?

Evangelista is rocked!

Brighthouse stands up and waves to Evangelista to follow him.
Oh Evangelista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brighthouse knocks out Evangelista with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Brighthouse before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Brighthouse picks up the big W with a huge KO!
