Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders doesn't manage to clinch there - Palmer circles away.
Palmer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sanders under the eye.
Sanders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Palmer tries to bum rush Sanders with a series of wild strikes but Sanders uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Palmer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanders fails with an attempt to clinch.
Palmer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Jackson Sanders has been cut.
Palmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Palmer swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanders.
Palmer throws a series of punches but Sanders avoids them all with ease.
Sanders needs to keep his hands up - Palmer had a free shot at his head there.
Sanders closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanders fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Palmer avoids it really well and circles away.
Palmer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Palmer wants it to stay on the feet.
Sanders fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Joe Palmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Sanders.
Sanders tries to clinch there but Palmer circles away.

Sanders pushes Palmer up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanders tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Palmer's elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sanders has Palmer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sanders pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Palmer tumbling to the mat - Sanders dives into Palmer's guard.
Palmer wants to get back to his feet but Sanders is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanders accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing.
Sanders loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Palmer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Sanders with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sanders has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sanders postures up in Palmer's guard and throws a big left but Palmer blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palmer wants to stand and escape but Sanders is having none of it.
Sanders trying to control the position from guard on top but Palmer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing.
Sanders trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sanders in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Palmer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanders is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanders with a nice head shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Palmer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sanders throws an elbow that misses. Palmer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanders's guard. Nice move by Palmer!

Palmer stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Palmer misses with the combination.
Palmer is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Palmer lands with a cross.
Palmer misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanders tries to close the distance and clinch up but Palmer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sanders finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Palmer's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Sanders falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Palmer!
