Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Underworld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Underworld has chosen Mr. Torture as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underworld avoids a punch combination nicely.
Underworld moves out of range of the strikes.
Underworld lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ass tests Underworld's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Underworld defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ass.
Some wild striking there from Ass.
Ass has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Underworld.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Underworld with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ass to score with a decent uppercut.

That has opened up Hades Underworld's cut even more.
Jack Ass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ass lands a slapping body shot.

Underworld uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ass.

Ass closes the distance and clinches up with Underworld, looking for a takedown. Ass pushes Underworld against the cage but Underworld circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Underworld misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ass stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice defenses there by Underworld.
Ass misses with a takedown attempt - Underworld sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Ass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Underworld's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ass connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Underworld scrambles back to his feet.

Underworld slips a jab and a cross from Ass.
Underworld takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Underworld throws a head kick but Ass moves out of range.
Ass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ass connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Underworld's hands.

The cut above Hades Underworld's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ass lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ass misses with a double jab
and Underworld counters with a three punch combo that has Ass backing up. Ass nods at Underworld to acknowledge the strikes.

It looks like Jack Ass has been cut.
Ass changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Underworld tries to avoid it but Ass manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Underworld to the ground. Underworld escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ass lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A telegraphed right hand from Ass misses the target.
Ass blocks the body kick.

Underworld feints a jab promting Ass to slip. Underworld then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ass slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ass misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Danga de danga de dang - Ass scores with a four punch combination!
Ass looks to land a combination but Underworld avoids it well.
Decent striking displayed by Ass there.

Hades Underworld's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Ass throws a right and a left that Underworld avoids nicely.

Ass shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Underworld is trying to defend but Ass finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Underworld is refusing to be controlled, as Ass sits in half guard.

Ass is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Underworld as he works his way to full guard.
Ass throwing strikes but missing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Underworld sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Underworld tries a head kick but it misses.
Ass is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Underworld throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ass shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ass thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Underworld's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ass wants to lay and pray for a moment but Underworld keeps working.
Ass thows a huge punch but Underworld dodges it nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ass in particular looking to stall.
Underworld is breathing heavily.

Ass is nestled in close to Underworld, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ass connects with a nice short shot to Underworld's temple.
