Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Battafuco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzianowski has chosen Foxy Shazam - Killin' it as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battafuco looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pudzianowski wants to control but Battafuco is keeping busy.

Battafuco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Battafuco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pudzianowski pinned against the cage. Pudzianowski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Battafuco wants to break the clinch but can't.
Battafuco drags the fight down to the ground.
Pudzianowski looking to sit in guard and control but Battafuco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Battafuco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
