Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between KJ Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, KJ Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronaldo Rua! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Moore misses and Rua finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Rua tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rua somewhat. Rua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Rua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rua moves in looking to clinch but Moore pushes him off. Rua tries to clinch but fails miserably and Moore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moore. Moore prevents Rua from breaking the clinch. Rua utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Moore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moore clinches. Rua jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moore walks away with a smile on his face. Rua gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. KJ Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Rua. Rua doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Moore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moore is looking to clinch. Moore shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well. Moore throws a head kick but Rua moves out of range.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Moore. Rua misses with a double jab.
Moore has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Rua's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rua tries to pull guard but Moore forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Rua is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Moore darts in and clinches Rua up against the cage. Rua has picked Moore up - he's going for a ride! Rua dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Moore misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Moore is looking to control Rua's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moore avoid being mounted? Moore makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Moore. Moore lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rua! Rua wants to control but Moore is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore working away from the top, dropping strikes. Moore prevents Rua from getting the reversal. Rua is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Moore looking to control but Rua is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rua is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua tries to lock up and control but Moore gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rua can do anything to dispel that myth. Rua is desperately trying to improve his position but Moore has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rua has given up his back here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moore looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Rua taps!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). KJ Moore!
