Van Swanson tries to clinch there but Akerei circles away.

Some bone on bone action there as Akerei checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Van Swanson lands a big head kick that sends Akerei tumbling to the mat! Van Swanson takes a step backwards and waves Akerei back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Akerei is rocked!
It looks like Pelco Akerei has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Van Swanson is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Akerei hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
