Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tinker Evers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nash comes to the cage accompanied by ITS A FIGHT. Evers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Call Me from Shinedown. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tinker Evers! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evers tries for a takedown but Nash circles away easily and Nash moves into the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Nash. Evers is pressed up against the cage. Nash has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Evers down to the mat. Evers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Evers moves into the clinch. Nash looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Evers stops a takedown attempt from Nash.

Evers utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A frustrated look appears on Nash's face as he tries to break the clinch. Evers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Evers stuffs the takedown attempt from Nash. Nash gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Nash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nash tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evers swivels and escapes. Evers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nash's half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evers is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nash has managed to free his arm - good work. Evers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Nash wants to improve his position but Evers is controlling well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nash is trying to control but can't.
Evers is working for an americana but Nash has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Evers was thinking about the submission. Evers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evers looking to pass the guard. Nash utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nash is looking for a triangle but Evers pushes his legs off easily.
Evers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Evers lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evers with a nice head shot there. Nash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Evers postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Evers postures up in Nash's guard and throws a big left but Nash blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evers content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Nash working for a triangle but Evers defends it easily.
Evers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nash isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Evers stacks Nash on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Evers! Evers is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nash has escaped the position, nice work there. Nash gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nash is pressing down on Evers's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Evers lands a couple of decent looking shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nash is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Evers rolls with it to try and escape but Nash cranks on the arm and Evers is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kevin Nash! Kevin Nash was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
