Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chras Watsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone comes to the ring accompanied by Where Everybody Knows Your Name. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Malone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chras Watsky! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Watsky lands a nice hook to Malone's body. Malone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Malone chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Watsky. Malone gets in close and instigates a clinch. Malone misses with a knee to the head. A short right from Malone. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Malone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Malone. Good body shot from Watsky.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Watsky breaks from the clinch.
Watsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Malone, pushing him back against the ropes. Malone lands on the inside with an uppercut. Watsky has clasped his hands together around Malone's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Malone is pushing Watsky's head away, looking to escape. Watsky manages to hold on to the position though. Watsky gets to mount! Malone was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malone tries to hold on but Watsky postures up. Malone keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Watsky looking to finish Malone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Malone! Malone tries to hold on but Watsky pushes him away. Watsky jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Malone is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Malone and Watsky has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
You can see the frustration on Malone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Watsky working the ground and pound. Watsky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Malone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone is working to avoid the ground and pound but Watsky connects with a decent elbow. Watsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Malone has escaped the position, nice work there. Malone wants to control but Watsky postures up. Watsky prevents Malone from escaping the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Malone is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Watsky is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Malone pushes Watsky off looking to stand but Watsky dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watsky thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Malone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Watsky would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Watsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Malone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Watsky has managed to get both his arms back between Malone's legs - danger averted. Watsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Watsky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Malone trying to keep a closed guard but Watsky is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Watsky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Malone is wriggling around but Watsky manages to pass to half guard.
Watsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malone keeps working. Malone is trying to maintain the position but Watsky is very close to passing his half guard. Malone looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Watsky tries to stand but can't do so whilst Malone controls his leg.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Watsky has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Malone works to full guard. Malone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Watsky trying to control but Malone is working from the bottom. Malone isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Watsky stacks Malone on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Watsky! Malone can't do much from the bottom here. Malone tries to buck Watsky off but Watsky is having none of it. Watsky decides to stand up, so the ref orders Malone to his feet. Watsky throws a sloppy head kick and Malone moves out of range easily.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Malone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Watsky forces Malone back against the ropes and clinches. Malone misses with the head strike.
Watsky turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Watsky manages to end up in side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Malone is trying to improve his position. Malone is pushing Watsky's head away, looking to escape. Watsky manages to hold on to the position though. Malone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Watsky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Malone trying to control but Watsky flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Watsky is punishing Malone with strikes - can he finish him?! Malone is really stuck here.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Watsky is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Watsky is landing with strikes. Malone can't take much more of this. Watsky lands shots from the back. Malone is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Malone is breathing heavily. Watsky lands an elbow to the side of the head. Watsky not allowing Malone to control his hands. Watsky punches Malone on the ear.
Malone is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Malone is in a bad position with Watsky working for a choke. Malone manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Malone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Malone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Watsky is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Malone is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Malone throws a big elbow that misses. Malone stopping the sweep attempt from Watsky. Watsky is trying to control the position but Malone postures up. Malone won't allow Watsky to get back to his feet. Malone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Watsky looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Watsky looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Watsky! Malone is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Watsky works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Malone sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Malone on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Watsky decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Malone misses with a takedown attempt - Watsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Watsky shoots for a takedown but Malone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Watsky throws a head kick that misses. Watsky throws a head kick that misses. Watsky throws a combination that misses and Watsky takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chras Watsky dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Malone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Watsky tries to clinch but Malone moves out of range. Watsky fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Malone checks it well. Malone darts in and clinches Watsky up against the ropes. Malone misses with an elbow strike.

Malone tries to break free but Watsky pushes him back against the ropes. Malone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Horrible takedown by Watsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Malone which made him look bad. Watsky has managed to clinch.
Watsky throws a knee to the head but misses.
Malone takes a knee to the side of the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watsky stalling in the clinch but Malone improves position. Malone drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Watsky blocks a body shot from Malone. Malone wants to get back to striking at distance but Watsky won't allow it.
Watsky with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Malone lands a left hand that snaps the head of Watsky backwards. Malone is trying to drag Watsky to the mat but Watsky just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Malone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Watsky is defending well for now. Watsky lands a good knee to the midsection. Malone won't want to take too many of those. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Watsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Watsky dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Watsky lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Watsky gets the takedown into side control.

Watsky stands up. Watsky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Malone misses with a hook from the clinch. Watsky lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Watsky moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Malone. Malone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malone is trying to stand.
Watsky is just content to waste time from the top position. Malone takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Watsky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malone works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Malone keeping moving, preventing Watsky from controlling successfully. Malone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Watsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Watsky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Malone looking for a guillotine here but Watsky defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watsky passes easily into side control. Nice work. Watsky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Watsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malone keeps working. Watsky working the body and head with strikes.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Malone parries the strikes from Watsky easily there. Watsky is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Malone to escape.
Watsky scoring with punches and elbows. Malone is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Watsky has just dragged him back down to the mat. Watsky wants to control but Malone is keeping him busy. Watsky working the head with strikes. Watsky working away. Watsky cracks Malone with a big right hand but Malone just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Watsky is looking to take a break and control but Malone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Watsky lands a nice forearm strike. Malone takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Oh Malone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Watsky landing strikes. Watsky lands a strong strike to the head of Malone. That's dazed him! Watsky looking to finish here. Malone is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Watsky lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
