The crowd seem to be enjoying Wait's choice of entrance music: Say Hello. Charlie Clock has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Charlie Clock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnnie Wait! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wait jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wait fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Clock throws a nice looking combination but Wait bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Clock ducks under a wild hook from Wait. Wait swinging wildly here.
Clock throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wait tries to clinch up. Wait misses with a straight left. Wait's jab looks to have found its range, popping Clock under the eye. Clock motions for Wait to come forward. Clock throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wait moves into range and connects with a jab. Clock throws a series of punches but Wait moves out of range. Wait throws an overhand right that lands on Clock's shoulder, as Clock tries to avoid the shot. Wait ducks under a wild hook from Clock. Clock moves out of range of the body kick from Wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clock misses with a double jab.

Clock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wait's half guard. Clock trying to control from half guard but Wait is working away. Clock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wait tries to reverse the position but Clock maintains control. Wait's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wait is squirming around, avoiding Clock's attempts to control the action. Clock misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Clock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wait is looking to escape. Clock is working for a guillotine from mount but Wait frees his head quite easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wait is just holding on here. Clock manages to take his back.
Wait rolls, trying to escape but Clock keeps control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wait looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Clock biding his time, controlling Wait. Clock landing with strikes. Clock is cranking Wait's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Wait! He's tightened the choke and Wait is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Charlie Clock! Charlie Clock really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Pirates Powder logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
