Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Marin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leroy comes into the arena with Black Dynamite blaring out of the sound system. Marin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iron Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bruce Leroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Marin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marin misses with a few strikes there.
Marin throws a leg kick
and Leroy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Leroy scores a nice knee to the body.
Marin is trying to force a seperation but Leroy has the dominant position.
Leroy has Marin pressed against the ropes, preventing Marin from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Leroy is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Marin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Leroy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marin pulls his leg out and moves away.
A punch lands to the side of Marin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Leroy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Leroy is taking a breather. Marin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Leroy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marin's head.
Leroy wants to pass to mount but Marin is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leroy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Leroy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marin defends it well.
Leroy thows a huge punch but Marin dodges it nicely.
Marin looks winded!
Leroy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Marin!

Leroy throws some wild stikes that Marin manages to avoid easily.
Leroy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Marin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Leroy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Marin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Leroy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Marin is rocked!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Leroy is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Marin goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Leroy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bruce Leroy!
As Bruce Leroy got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Fiendish Dr Wu, you done fucked up now!'.
