Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Manahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Fenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Manahan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Fenn! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fenn fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Manahan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manahan gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fenn regains guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fenn will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manahan's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fenn has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fenn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fenn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fenn doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Manahan takes the fight into the clinch. Fenn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Manahan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fenn to the mat. Fenn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Manahan looking to pass the guard. Manahan postures up and lands a big shot to Fenn's brow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fenn trying to control the position.

Steve Manahan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fenn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Steve Manahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manahan shoots in looking for a takedown. Fenn tries to sprawl out of it but Manahan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fenn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fenn throws a series of strikes that have Manahan backpedaling.
Fenn looks to land a combination but Manahan avoids it well. Manahan tries to close the distance and clinch but Fenn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Manahan moves into the clinch successfully.

Fenn is trying to break free. Manahan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fenn pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fenn lands with a right to the head. Manahan looking to throw knees to the head but Fenn is blocking nicely.

Fenn jumps guard but Manahan stands there with Fenn around his waist. Fenn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fenn scores with a hook to the body. Manahan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fenn pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Manahan. That's going to take a lot out of him. A chopping leg kick lands by Fenn. Fenn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Manahan swivels and escapes. Fenn fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fenn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Fenn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fenn circles away from the clinch attempt and Fenn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Manahan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fenn counters by moving into the clinch.

Fenn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Manahan just stands there and leans against the cage. Fenn has Manahan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Manahan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Manahan tries to land a knee to the head but Fenn blocks with his arms.

Fenn pulls guard effortlessly. Fenn looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Manahan passes Fenn's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fenn tries to roll over but Manahan keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fenn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Manahan scores with a couple of nice shots. Manahan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Manahan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fenn gets back to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Manahan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fenn throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

BJ Fenn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Manahan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fenn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Manahan's guard. Manahan tries to strike from the bottom.
Fenn stopping the sweep attempt from Manahan. Manahan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fenn! Fenn wants to control but Manahan is having none of it. Fenn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Manahan prevents Fenn from getting back to his feet. Manahan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fenn is trying to keep Manahan in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manahan thows a big elbow that misses. Manahan postures up in Fenn's guard and throws a big left but Fenn blocks it.
