Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hardy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Run this town. Cain has chosen A Warrior's Call as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chad Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Cain!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain throws a looping overhand right but Hardy ducks down to avoid it.
Hardy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hardy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hardy misses with a low kick.
Hardy throws a body punch but Cain moves out of range.
Cain gets caught flat footed, as Hardy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hardy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hardy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Cain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hardy is one step ahead there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hardy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hardy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hardy won't allow Cain to sweep him here.
Hardy wants to pass the guard but Cain is keeping the position.
Hardy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hardy manages to get himself to full guard.
Cain drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hardy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hardy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hardy!
Cain tries to improve position but can't.
Hardy cracks Cain with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Hardy scores with a couple of short elbows.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hardy landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Hardy throwing strikes but Cain manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Cain wants to take a breather but Hardy manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Cain.

Hardy keeping moving, preventing Cain from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cain wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.

Cain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hardy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cain, into his guard.
Hardy throws a big right hand that misses.
Hardy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardy slips nicely into half guard.

Hardy is looking to take a break and control but Cain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cain wants to control but Hardy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hardy thows a huge punch but Cain dodges it nicely.
Cain is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hardy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hardy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cain regains half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Hardy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hardy throws a front kick aimed at Cain's knee but Cain avoids it well.
A head kick misses from Hardy.
Cain jabs Hardy right on the nose. Hardy blinks but takes it well.
Cain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hardy circles away.
Cain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardy as he jumps to the side.
Hardy scores with a jab.
Cain fails with the takedown.
Chad Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Cain.
Cain jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Hardy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hardy connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Cain to the floor! Hardy dives in looking for the finish!
Cain is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cain is still in real trouble! Can Hardy finish him?
Hardy moves nicely into side control.
Hardy working away.
Cain seems to have recovered his senses.

A lull in the action here.
A big shot lands for Hardy! That's hurt Cain! Will he recover? Hardy fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Chad Hardy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
