Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny Bova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Bradley!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bova is looking to clinch but Bradley is avoiding it.
Bova works the jab nicely.
Bova is looking to clinch but Bradley is avoiding it.
Bova throws a body punch but Bradley moves out of range.
Bova misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bradley.
Bova misses with a wild body shot.
Bova throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bradley circles away from the clinch attempt

and Bradley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bova's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bradley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bova has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bradley has managed to get both his arms back between Bova's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bradley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Bova takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bradley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bova will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Bova is not content to let Bradley control the position.

Bradley is looking to take a break and control but Bova is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bradley lands a decent elbow from side control.

Bova is trying to get back to his feet.
Bradley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bova. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bradley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bova will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Bova is looking to reverse the position.
Bova wants to control but Bradley postures up.
Bradley cracks Bova with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Bradley in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Bradley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bova keeps working.
Bova is pushing Bradley's head away, looking to escape. Bradley manages to hold on to the position though.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bradley wants to control but Bova is keeping him busy.
Bradley moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Bova tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bradley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bova is breathing heavily.

Bradley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bova will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

OK we're going to have a standup here. David Bradley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bradley tries a low kick but Bova avoids it.
Bradley keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bova is looking to wear down Bradley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bradley misses with a looping right.
Bova tries to clinch there but Bradley circles away.

Bradley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bova tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bradley is in Bova's guard.

Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Bova is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bradley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bradley wants to control from the top but Bova keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Bradley.
Horrible takedown by Bradley or perhaps it was just good defense by Bova which made him look bad.
Bova misses with a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bradley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bova has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bova and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Bova is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bradley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bova tries to clinch up but Bradley circles away and keeps his distance.

Bova looks for the body kick but Bradley saw that one coming.

Let's hope that Bradley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Bradley wasn't active enough on the ground.

Bova gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bradley is stalling in the full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Bradley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!



Bradley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bova to the ground. Bradley is now in Bova's guard.

Bova has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bradley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bova is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bradley won't allow Bova to sweep him here.
Bradley lands a couple of digs.
Bradley's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bradley wants to pass the guard but Bova is keeping the position.
Bova wants to stand up but Bradley is controlling him.

Bradley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bova's guard.
David Bradley has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bradley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bradley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

David Bradley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bradley winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
