The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Silva is looking for a triangle but Black pushes his legs off easily.
Black wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Black doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Silva is tightening it up a little... Black has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Black reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Black taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!
