Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Karel Bezuidenhout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curtis Dighead!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bezuidenhout takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dighead shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bezuidenhout shoots for a double leg takedown but Dighead sprawls well. He's pushed Bezuidenhout's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dighead avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bezuidenhout closes the distance and clinches.
Bezuidenhout is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Dighead goes for a takedown attempt but Bezuidenhout pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dighead stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dighead wants it to stay on the feet.
Dighead connects with a leg kick. Bezuidenhout looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bezuidenhout slaps away a takedown attempt from Dighead, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Karel Bezuidenhout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Dighead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bezuidenhout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dighead as he avoids it easily.
Dighead shoots in looking for a takedown. Bezuidenhout tries to sprawl out of it but Dighead keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bezuidenhout manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dighead tries to keep at a distance but Bezuidenhout has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dighead breaks from the clinch.
Bezuidenhout wants to clinch up but Dighead keeps it at a distance.
Karel Bezuidenhout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dighead closes the distance and clinches.
Dighead is looking for a takedown.
Dighead changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bezuidenhout fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bezuidenhout moves in looking to clinch but Dighead pushes him off.

and Dighead counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bezuidenhout changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dighead tries to avoid it but Bezuidenhout manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dighead to the ground. Dighead escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bezuidenhout displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dighead.
Bezuidenhout shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dighead pinned against the cage. Dighead gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dighead lands a jab.
Dighead will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dighead slaps away a takedown attempt from Bezuidenhout, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bezuidenhout tries to clinch up but Dighead circles away and keeps his distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bezuidenhout shoots for a takedown but Dighead saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bezuidenhout is breathing heavily.
Bezuidenhout moves in looking to clinch but Dighead pushes him off.
Dighead lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bezuidenhout moves to clinch but Dighead breaks away
and Dighead counters with a one-two to the body.
Dighead Throws a clean left jab. Dighead Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Bezuidenhout's chin! Bezuidenhout crumbles to the ground and Dighead follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Dighead!
