The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bom to the ground. Hall is now in Bom's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Bom is retaining full guard.
Bom pulls Hall in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bom moves into range and clinches up with Hall.
Hall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Park Bom.
