Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Park Bom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Park Bom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Park Bom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Hall! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bom to the ground. Hall is now in Bom's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Bom is retaining full guard. Bom pulls Hall in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Park Bom just wasn't active enough. Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into Bom's guard. Hall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hall wants to control from the top but Bom keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michael Hall. Hall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bom working a defensive guard here.
Park Bom has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bom gets a takedown into half guard.

Bom wants to stand but Hall has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Well, if Bom is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bom seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Hall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bom. Hall trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Bom manages to pass to mount!
Bom wants to stand but Hall is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Hall suckers Bom into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Hall is now in Bom's guard!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Park Bom. Hall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bom is fending him off so far but Hall persists. Nope, Bom circles away and we're back to standing. Hall shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hall is trying to control. Bom wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Hall dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bom moves into range and clinches up with Hall. Hall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bom gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hall trying to control the position.
Hall keeping moving, preventing Bom from controlling successfully. Hall looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Bom is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hall has escaped and now he's on top! Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bom seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We're going to have a standup here because Park Bom wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hall gets caught napping as Bom dives in and scores a takedown. Hall manages to retain guard. Bom throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall trying to keep a closed guard but Bom is proving a slippery customer.
Bom trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hall is trying to keep Bom in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Michael Hall was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bom gets caught flat footed, as Hall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bom is trying to hold Hall in close to prevent damage but Hall has managed to pass into half guard.
Bom works his way to full guard. Good work. Hall content to stall in guard here. Bom controls Hall momentarily but Hall frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Park Bom just wasn't active enough. Hall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bom but Bom pushes him off and we're back to square one. Park Bom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hall gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bom to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hall has a takedown stuffed. Hall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bom counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hall's guard now. Hall controlling the position. Bom wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving. Hall controlling the position. Bom trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hall's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bom but Bom pushes him off and we're back to square one. Park Bom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Hall. Hall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bom defends it nicely. Hall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bom tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hall is in Bom's guard. Hall wants to pass the guard but Bom is keeping the position.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Park Bom. I think Bom has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
