The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillman shoots in but Conway avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hillman throws a sloppy body shot
and Conway counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hillman fails with the takedown
and Conway counters with a series of strikes. Hillman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Conway lands with a right hand.
Conway throws a good cross that connects.
Conway scores with a nice strike.
Hillman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Conway as he avoids it easily.
Tam Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Hillman.

Hillman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conway paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hillman looks to land a right hand but Conway moved out of range.

and Conway counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hillman's guard now.
